Hi everyone,

I am a French guy, from the Somme specifically. I am currently conducting research for a potential documentary about all the soldiers who came from all over the world to fight in the north of France during WW1.

Last year, I had the chance to visit New Zealand from top to bottom (which is a marvelous country, I miss the landscapes). One day, I passed by Glenorchy and saw this sign about a lot of dead soldiers buried far away from their homes. I was surprised to see the names of small French towns on it, names that only locals from my area would know, even though I was on the other side of the world!

But I forgot to take a picture ! Would anyone who lives in or is passing by Glenorchy have or would be able to take a clear photo of that sign ? It's located on Mull Street, right next to the WW1 monument (with the soldier standing on it) and the Glenorchy Cafe. If you can, I would be infinitely grateful !

Lors de mon dernier rendez-vous France Travail, j'ai appris par ma conseillère que je pouvais candidater à des offres d'alternance sans même avoir sélectionné de formation à suivre. Dans ce cas, ce serait l'entreprise qui m'embauche qui pourrait m'aider dans mes démarches pour trouver une formation.

Est-ce que le processus de l'alternance peut vraiment se dérouler de cette façon ? Et aussi, est-ce qu'il y a des chances qu'une entreprise m'embauche, alors même que je n'ai pas de structure scolaire déterminée ?

Dans mon domaine (audiovisuel & culture), il y a très peu de CDD et CDI disponibles. Je tombe surtout sur des offres d'alternance. Je suis un peu embêté parce que je comptais travailler après avoir terminé mon master, pas tellement reprendre des études. Mais bon, si je dois passer par là pour continuer de faire à peu près ce que j'aime, je suis preneur. Mais cette situation fait que je ne suis pas très bien renseigné sur l'alternance...
