Minoxidil side effect(maybe)
Hello guys,im here to know yall opinions about this problem. Im 19 years old,and a few months ago my dermatologist told me i got androgenic alopeica. Besides my acne treatment and seborrheic dermatitis,she prescribed me topic minoxidil (alopexy 50). I began applying it where i was losing the hair (the hairline). After two months of usage,i texted her telling that i dont see any progress with my hair growth,and she told me to switch to topical minoxidil 5% from kirkland. i started applying it,and within a month i saw some pretty good progress. I saw many baby hairs growing and i was pretty optimistic. After another two months of applying everyday, my hairline was almost completed,barely had a few spots where the baby hairs grew harder,but i knew with time they're gonna get filled with hair. at the beginning of march,i saw some numerous pimples forming on my face almost everyday,even though i was still on a treatment and ever since i haven't got any pimples. Since then,my face is almost full of pimples/red spots,not knowing why. I keep a good diet, i don't eat sugar at all and im using my acne0 treatment. Do you guys think all this its because of the topical minoxidil I'm using? If so,does anyone know what brand or form of minoxidil should i use to avoid all this? (i know my English is bad as shit but hope you understand!!)
