In her comment section she said she got it done professionally so she doesn’t know what colour or dye it is but if anyone could help find something similar i’d appreciate it
Hello. This is my virgin hair, needed some help in assessing what level it is? I think it’s a 6 or 7?
I want to achieve a pastel pink but i’m aware it needs to be a level 10 for that so i will be bleaching my hair a couple times- maybe twice on two separate days and a bleach bath, i bought t14 to tone but that might have been a mistake considering it needs to be really lifted for that to work. thoughts on the toner?
To make the pink last i’ve thought of buying a vibrant pink so it fades to a pastel to lower the maintenance and increase longevity.
My top contenders are: neon pink by iroiro (but diluted because it is simply too vibrant), pink puff OR ex girl by good dye young, virgin pink OR frose by arctic fox.
In the inspo pics, i think i want a more warm toned pink so i am hesitant in which shade to get for that.
Any advice on that is appreciated although i know dye depends on each person as it reacts differently to everyone.
Keep in mind that i do intend to change my pink hair to purple and after that to a green and then a blue and maybe do a coloured root (but this is over the course of YEARS), i will most add new colour to fresh growth (altho purple could be added to my whole head and it wouldn’t effect anything too much) -
However, the scariest reviews i’ve heard of iroiro is that it does not leave ur hair and although i want to be pink for the next year or two, idk how i feel about that, let me know if that’s been ur experience on bleached hair too?
the most important factor of the dyes is the value for money because i’m on a budget ever since i bought the wella bleach and the toner. I also need the dye i buy to last me a while with only needing to refresh after a root touch up (every 6 weeks)
i’m also thinking of buying the wella repair damage hair mask to help my hair through this journey.
Do you think my plan sounds achievable? Would you suggest any tips on how to ensure i don’t get banding, what volume developer i should use ( i’m planning on using 30 for my hair and 10 for my roots) and how to really ensure my root touch ups go well because that’s the part i’m most nervous about.
I have done my research but came on here for extra suggestions and advice. thank you for your time.
TL;DR: Which warm toned pink hair dye is the longest lasting, value for money, fades to a pretty pastel? Is the wella repair damage mask worth the investment? What is my hair level? How to prevent banding? Root touch ups tips? Hair dye shade recommendations?
