When I was in middle school, which was around 2002-2004, my Japanese teacher had a lovely set of karuta cards. I would really love to fund them again. They looked somewhat vintage at that time, so I'm guessing they'd be pretty old now.

Unfortunately, I'm not totally sure what version of karuta it was. Fortunately, I do perfectly remember one card. The "a" card had an orangish tanuki transformed into a teapot on a blueish background, and its clue was:

"Atsui, atsui!" to bunbuku chagama.

I also remember that the "hu/fu" card began with "Fubuki" and depicted a yuki-onna. As such, I suspect that it might have been some version of obake karuta.

I realize this is an incredibly difficult ask, but it would mean a lot to me to be able to find it.
