for those with a 2024-2026 with a/c issues...

...which trim option do you have? i have seen a recent trend at my dealership where our a/c department has been getting a ton of traxs, although they usually get one every week or week and a half. i noticed that last wednesday it started with 1 activ, this monday with 2 activs, an activ yesterday, and today 2 more activs- all randomly 2024s through 2026s. no other trim options since that first activ last wednesday. whats funny is its actually quite rare to see activs on the road around here, usually ls or 1rs.

my second trax i just bought recently got that fun p0442 code a third time in this traxs life today. gms allegedly changed the part between both the two times its gotten replaced, but hopefully the third times a charm......my other trax is at 25,000 miles and she hasnt had this issue, but this one has at 1,768 miles, 9,280 miles, and now 16,772 miles- seems every 7,500 miles. i pray this time it finally gets permanently fixed, but well have to wait and see.....

*have or have had

i was just curious since i work at a very busy dealership and weve been getting a ton of traxs with [wireless] apple carplay issues lol. i know its a very common issue, but just wondered who has had issues in general. shop foremans been on my ass cuz im the dude thats known for everything trax related at my dealership, especially since i cant stop talking about traxs and im the only one there with 2 whole traxs 😆

weve had various kinds of fixes come through, some ranging from simple phone configurations to whole component replacements, so theres a lot of different possibilities there could be to getting your carplay back to working. always try to work with your dealership service team to try and help them further diagnose, unless theyre being a complete ass. they shouldnt ask you to leave their phone with them, but it really helps if a technician is able to watch see what happens for you as advisor miscommunication happens all the time and the tech is left testing the system and finding nothing wrong a lot of the time. hopefully your concerns get fixed tho!
