Bill insinuated this on the Ghostbusters rewatchables episode this past week, did anybody else clock it?

he essentially said Joel was asked to move to LA (for a pay increase + bigger role i’d imagine, Rob Mahoney and Joanna Robinson have both made this leap very recently) but declined and said he was happy staying in Maryland.

thoughts? i know Joel just moved up to MD very recently like within the last 2 years and the thought of moving cross country again so soon probably overwhelming, but man i think it’s a bummer cuz he’s genuinely skyrocketed to being one of my favorite people at The Ringer and would love to get more of him on video pods with real production, mixing it up in person with the gang.
