Do you think the US leg of Lily Allen’s Tour will be cancelled? - Pussycat Dolls cancel reunion tour following poor ticket sales

There are a lot of unsold tickets to Lily’s US dates, and honestly, the pricing is wild. Who is paying $475 for a close-up seat?

A lot of people have noted from the first leg that she will only be performing the entire West End Girl album only, but that’s only 40 minutes. She isn’t doing anything from her back catalog; instead, there’s just an orchestral trio playing her old hits as the opener. For nearly $500, that’s just not enough.

The Pussycat Dolls and Zayn already scrapped their US tours lately, probably because of slow sales. Is it really likely that Lily will go ahead with these US dates?

Personally, I think the US leg is doomed unless she guarantees (very soon) that she’ll be playing the old hits and putting on a much longer show than she did during the first leg.

Don’t be mad at me. I’m just stating facts.

All articles available mention that there is discussions, and that they have unused footage from the first film that can form part of the sequel.

A few recent articles being shared, but not one confirms a second film has been officially greenlit.

I loved the film, but I think it is very unlikely the estate, Lionsgate and Universal will come to an agreement on the script for the second movie.

There’s no way of getting around the Jordan Chandler allegation, and if they could have (changing names, dates etc) then they would have done so during the reshoot. If Jordan can’t be depicted with the estates involvement, then a huge chunk of Michael’s life will be skipped out.

There are rumours that Lionsgste/Universal considered pulling out of the movie after they discovered they couldn’t include the allegations, and that the estate had to pay for the reshoots to continue.

The only way a sequel will be greenlit is if the Michael Jackson estate have no involvement so that the Jordan Chandler allegation can be included, and I don’t see that happening.

Like I said, don’t be mad at me. I’m ready for the downvotes regardless.
