5 months old, for context the ppl i adopted her from said she might be a pit mix but after some research i think she might be a black mouth, esp bc her side profile isn’t pitty like, she has her forehead curve but then between her eyes to her nose slopes down more than a pits
located in ohio. can’t tell what type of insect this is. i’m hoping it’s just a ground beetle but i can’t identify it confidently. they do not hide when the lights are turned on like a roach would, i saw online ground beetles like water and recently my kitchen flooded from a broken pipe. in the last week ive seen three of them that all look the exact same size and color. they’re smaller than my pinky nail. my eyesight is poor and i dont currently have glasses so i cant gather more details besides from these pix. help!!!
