Got tired of hardcore servers having the same problems, so I made my own to fix them
If you're like me, your experience of hardcore servers has been the following: You log in>You play for a few days>Someone griefs your stuff/attacks you>You die. That's the most underwhelming thing you could think of. After that happening a while, I decided to make my own server that breaks this pattern to solve this issue. MCB.
MCB is a birth-only hardcore SMP server made to encourage group playing and civilization development.
Only already invited players can invite new players to the server.
This simulates real life population growth and keeps the community active and free from trolls.
If you've ever seen one of these Minecraft civilization experiments on YouTube and wished there would be a server that's almost just like that, but open all the time instead of being an event, that's your chance!
On top of this, a series of secret tweaks and mechanics have been implemented to keep the game fresh and interesting. No guides are provided, players need to discover everything on their own, which rewards attentiveness and dedication.
An innate clan and family system ensures that you never just spawn alone on a hardcore world. You are not alone, you have been invited. You are part of a clan, of a family, and part of a story that will both precede and succeed you.
The server is running Java 1.21.11 and requires no mods aside from optional Simplevoicechat!
