We put effort into making sure players don't lose that ''Survival Feel''. We think of the consequences in the day-to-day of players with every change we make, making sure that the experience will never feel bloated. Any feature you don't like, can be toggled off. This also means that our server puts major effort into making sure that farms and redstone contraptions behave as they would in the base game.

Season 2 started March 13th and has been a massive success. With hundreds of players new and old joining us and tons of great moments and memories being had so far with plenty more to come.

📣 We're in the process of inviting more players for this new season. Season 2 features a player driven economy system, mcmmo, and chest shops. I've taken every effort to make the gameplay as fun and as rewarding as possible, focusing on player interactions and community based gameplay. Players are encouraged to download proximity chat and to live near or with others in one of our many communities.

🔥Our discord hosts a little over 1,200 members. Our player counts cycle around around the 30-40 player mark. Plenty of people for those interested in making friends.

Hollycraft SMP - Minecraft Modpacks - CurseForge
^IP IS BUILT INTO THIS MAIN PACK!!

Hollycraft SMP is built around two things: Create and Cobblemon. That's the core. This server is NOT about fighting progressively harder bosses or surviving some brutal difficulty overhaul. There are no extra enemy mods making your life miserable. If you want to just vibe, build cool things, and hang out — that's exactly what this is for.

• Elytra are nerfed
• CobbleDollars economy — trading between players uses CobbleDollars, earned by selling stuff to villagers
• Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn
• Touhou Little Maid + addons

The town system (work in progress)

This part isn't live yet — it depends on how many people actually join and how active things get. But the plan is:

• Eventually split into two towns — players help pick the names
• Each town gets 9 Pokémon typings assigned to it
• Members can build and run Player Gyms using those types
• We'll run tournaments in VGC doubles as the main competitive mode, with singles on the side

How gym teams work:

• Every Pokémon on your gym team needs at least one type matching your town's assigned typings
• Dual typing with anything is fair game — if your town has Fire, you can run Charizard (Fire/Flying) even if Flying belongs to the other town
• For casual play? Use whatever you want. The type restriction only applies to official Gym battles

The type split:

• Town 1: Fire · Water · Electric · Ground · Psychic · Steel · Bug · Dragon · Normal
• Town 2: Grass · Ice · Fighting · Poison · Flying · Rock · Ghost · Dark · Fairy

Again — this whole system rolls out based on how the community grows. Could change, could evolve. That's part of the fun of getting in early.

Everything is player-made

I want to be really clear about this because it matters to us:

• No creative mode spawn city
• No admin-built hub with perfect symmetry and command-block doors
• Whatever this world becomes, the players made it happen

Open Modrinth. Search first mod. "No versions for 1.21.11." Close tab. Search next mod. "No versions for 1.21.11." Close tab. Repeat 27 more times. Cry

modcheck.sh fixes this problem for you! You give it your mod list and a target MC version, and it checks Modrinth to tell you which mods are updated, which are outdated, and which it couldn't find; all at once.

Next time someone in your Discord asks "is [mod] updated yet?" — just send them the link so they can check themselves!

It works for both Fabric and Paper.

Three ways to input your mods:

• Paste a list of mod names
• Upload your .jar files directly; it reads the metadata so you don't have to type anything
• Search Modrinth to add mods one by one

Once checked, you can:

• Download a ZIP of all the updated mods in one click (great for migrating a server)

I run a server dedicated to perfecting the fundamentals of a good server. It’s not over-the-top with crates, kits etc. Instead, it features thoughtfully designed systems to keep the community running smoothly. We’re an “institutionalised” SMP that strictly adheres to protocol and enforces our rules. Our small staff team is the backbone of our thriving community.

We use raw gold as currency for our shopping district. Clicking a bed clears insomnia and disables phantom spawns for the night. These are the little additions we have on our server.
