Can anybody me tell me why this breakage is here? The rest of my hair is healthy and long I wear my hair natural, in braids, and when straighten in a claw clip.

Brought this plant for 20 at Lowes and it’s my first plant (yay). I’m trying hard to keep alive and I noticed this tiny baby plant growing is it another monstera? Should I take it out ?
