No compromises Micra

After 10 years of Rocket Appartamento ownership, I upgraded to a Micra. I originally wanted a Mini R, but the width would have taken up the space I use to whisk matcha and the depth would have been a cable organization challenge.

I decided to build a no-compromises Micra: Pantechnicon wood kit, Mazer Shot Stopper, Noto Studio centered drip tray, Sworksdesign billet shower screen (with flat screw!) and adjustable portafilter with billet basket. I modeled and printed a cable management box to hide the cables and lastly, created custom template sensors for Home Assistant so I can turn the machine on and manage it in a dashboard that controls the rest of my house, without having to open the LM app, with alerts for when the water tank is empty and to run a backflush cycle every 7 days. Love the machine so much. I used to turn my Appartamento on 45 minutes before I want to use it, now it's down to 5-7 minutes, though that steam power took a few days to get used to!
