My FIL recently lost his sense of taste as a side effect of a terminal disease. He’s been having a tough time with this and I’ve been putting together care packages of “sensational” foods (sour, spicy, acidic, aromatic, interesting textures) to try to give him some kinds of foods to look forward to.

They don’t have Trader Joe’s where they live so was going to see what TJ’s had to offer that could be fun! So far, we have:

- the spicy tempura seaweed

- super sour Scandinavian swimmers

- the sour mushroom candies.

Must be non-perishable suggestions as perishable won’t be able to last through the trip unfortunately!
