Coolant bypass in engine - ok to leave pipes open?
2018 Prius with 80k miles.
I followed this video for the bypass for coolant leaking into the catalytic converter. https://youtu.be/fKaH\_\_FKIAc?si=4l653GEmZUPTRYAf
The image on this post is AFTER the fix where the heat exchanger is being bypassed. The guy left these two pipes open and I'm wondering if it's ok to do so or if I should cap them?
