Out of the 9 corms I got from my Variegated Frydek that left me due to a heavy spider mites infestation (RIP), they almost all have been pushing out fully variegated leaves 🥲🙃

So my Monstera Aurea and mutated Thai Con had spider mites and an early case of thrips. Almost two months ago, I chopped off the top cuttings from both (they’re currently propagating in water) and let the bases do their thing. This is the current state of the base of my mutated Thai Con that I bought last year from Stater Bros. I noticed the leaf texture was bumpy and clearly not growing like normal Monsteras, so I bought it to see how it’d grow in the long run. I’ll eventually grow both the top and base cutting on some type of support and yes, it is intentional to let all these growth points grow on one stem. Just wanted to give a little context and show how funky the leaves are. Show me any of your funky growth from any of your plants!!
