This is my sub $300 2 watch quartz GMT pairing. The Timex gives you a dive bezel GMT with 200m of water resistance, so it’ll handle pretty much whatever you can throw at it, and the Addisdive AD2065 gives Dress/GADA vibes with GMT functionality and a claimed 100m of water resistance, so you don’t really have to baby it either. The only unfortunate thing is that the Addisdive has a mineral crystal instead of sapphire, and has a lug width of 19mm while the Timex is 22mm so they can’t share straps, but they are pretty different use cases so it’s also not really that bad. Can you all think of a better pairing “affordable” pairing that covers all of these bases in 2 watches?
I found this on Chrono24 last week and just couldn’t resist. It showed up in the mail yesterday and it made its first trip out of the house for a run to Costco today. Love it so far 😊
I’m in the process of putting together a collection of GMT/Multi time zone capable watches in both the digital and analogue format. I live in California and my girlfriend currently lives in Stockholm, so I travel back and forth fairly frequently and also enjoy being able to see what time it is for her with a just quick glance or push of a button. Yes, I can easily do the math, but it’s given me an excuse to start putting this together haha. I’m still missing a few pieces, but this is where the collection sits at the moment. 🍻
My collection is generally pretty tame, but this thing does a great job of mixing things up and injecting a bit of fun. It makes me smile whenever look at it 😆

I’m in the process of building a collection of GMT watches based on the Miyota 9075 movement and received this little blue gem in the mail from Singapore today. I’m so impressed by the dial that I can hardly stop looking at it. Pictures really don’t do it justice. My only complaint is that the hour hand seems a hair short, but other than that it’s I think it’s a beautiful little piece. 😊
