[F4A] Human x Alien Romance
Bit of an introduction of myself before we get into the details! I go by Lilac online, they/them pronouns, in my late twenties. I work second shift central standard time, though I usually try to respond at least daily if not a bit more frequently, potentially rapid fire on my days off (the weekends). I prefer a matched activity level, but it's by no means required! I write exclusively in third person and ask for the same from you, though I have no preference on present or past tense (I'm usually in past tense, however). My reply lengths start at the size of this paragraph, and go on up to multi para depending on the scene and dialogue level, no requirement of post length on your part other than PLEASE no one liners, I at least need enough to work with! I also love love love to chat ooc, send memes and songs and TikToks inspired by our characters, I may even draw them! Reference images not required, though I will use them myself, however I do ask for a bio- you do not have to follow the template that I use. Now! Onto what I'm searching for!
I will be writing as a human woman named Andromeda, a bio for whom I will leave below. She's an astronomer and I would absolutely ADORE to pair her with an alien, of any gender. Perhaps it's your classic UFO 'alien wants to study a human and brings them aboard' scenario (aka alien abduction, which is my preference for plot), perhaps their ship crashed and Andromeda finds it and helps out, there's many possibilities to be had here! The one thing it is NOT is your typical scifi space faring "humans and aliens know about each other and other worlds and are totally integrated", humans are not interstellar in this plot (though Andromeda could end up joining your alien in outer space and leaving earth!)

Personality: Soft spoken and quiet until she's around someone she likes, then girlypop *never shuts up* and becomes a certified yapper. Never usually thinks before acting, and very curious about a lot of things- likes to know how things work. Will dismantle things just to put them back together, mostly as a fidget. Only likes sitting still when it's time to do her Science™️ and then she is laser focused on what she's doing and probably going to forget you even exist
Hobbies: Stargazing, astrophotography, research, taking notes, learning new things especially about the universe
Abilities: electrokinesis, a very mild form of magnetokinesis, and a very *very* mild form of technopathy
Background: She's an astronomer, with a doctorate in astrophysics and masters in planetary science, graduated highschool at 15 and got her degrees from CalTech. Her parents are divorced but on good terms with each other, they just decided they were better as friends and coparents than as romantic partners. Andy doesn't talk to them very often but they're not estranged, she's just very busy doing what's she's doing! She doesn't directly work for any government or private entity, but does often consult on projects as needed.
