New film festival starts tomorrow

Hey Everyone,

I’m helping promote a new film festival called Love Is Film Festival, starting tomorrow and running till Sunday at Urban HQ (cafe situated at the former police station in the city centre, 2 mins from the train station).

They’re screening classics like Casablanca (in the courtyard if the weather is nice), In The Mood for Love, Breathless, and a couple other acclaimed films.

They’re also screening the Welsh kids' film ‘Y Dywysoges A'r Bwgan’ for free, but there are no English subtitles.

They have 2 short-film programmes and 2 director Q&As with local Welsh filmmakers. There’s also a festival reception party and a networking event with Film Abertawe for anyone looking to network/chat with fellow film buffs or filmmakers.

Single screening tickets & weekend passes are available on Urban HQ’s Eventbrite page.
