I regrettably sold my childhood collection of Alpha through Iceage for chump change when i was 13. i wish my parents had realized the value and not let me do that! didn’t have any power but had lots of lower end rares and uncommons, all heavily played to good condition.

i’ve been lurking a lot here and wonder how people have gotten their collections these days. just kept your old cards? heirloom? flea market bulk miracle? would love to hear about anyone’s old school/vintage origin stories.

edit: wow amazing stories, all! thank you for sharing. this has been a really great thread. condolences for all you who also don’t have your early year collections anymore. like one person said, most of us didn’t realize what we had! cheers
