I loaded in as Rook at Outpost this morning, and within a few minutes of walking around I overheard on prox chat one player just absolutely laying into another player, and the other guy isn’t saying anything. This guy sounded completely unhinged - swearing at them, calling them the r-word, it was gross. I assumed it was one team who was in the process of killing another team.
I locate both of them in the Flight Control armory, and it’s two Rooks who have downed each other. The toxic Rook sees me and asks me to kill them both, continuing to swear at the silent other player.
I resurrect the silent Rook with a mercy kit, causing the toxic Rook to absolutely lose his mind. I then blast the toxic Rook into the great beyond.
It is wiiiiild to me that people like this still exist. If the toxic Rook reads this post, you need help. This is a VIDEO GAME, there is no reason to be so incredibly rude to someone else - in a video game or real life.
