Too many Lego sets. Too little time.

Too many Lego sets. Too little time.

(Not in the picture, Bumblebee Transformer set)

As someone else previously posted, I think I’m becoming a LEGO hoarder 😭 - I want to build these so badly but work has been insane and I have no time. Hopefully will get at least one of these done this month.

Flipkart Delivery Experience

My Monalisa art set just arrived today, I got it at almost 50% off which is AMAZING.

Apparently, it was written on the page that this was an "open box delivery". I might have missed that? I don't recall seeing that anywhere.
The delivery guy came today and as he was about to open the box I stopped him and he said that it's mandatory, I requested that he let me open it nicely. He was kind enough to let me.

But oh man, my heart just stopped when I saw him doing that. Never ever going to order from Flipkart again. I've never had this experience where it's mandatory to open a sealed box? Not with Toycra, Amazon, Brickhouse, Desertcart - just never.

Is this a normal practice?

I’d like to volunteer!

Hello, I’m a seasoned professional in the tech industry. I usually just DM random strangers on Instagram asking if I can help build them any tools/websites and such. No charges what’s so ever. (Obviously other than the name of the site and storage for your own maintenance but I try to use as much free stuff as I can so it’s easy for you. You can own the entire thing as well. I usually just end up putting on my portfolio. That’s pretty much it.
I see a lot of folks wanting to use AI to automate stuff and I’m happy to help anyone.

Why :
I LOVE building, it’s super fun for me. It’s my way of giving back somehow.

Note :
I usually take on only 1 or 2 projects at a time depending on scope but I promise I’m really good and fast :)

Feel free to message me.

I live in India and need to buy someone a Lego set (I lost a bet) - has anyone done this? Any sites you would recommend that work with an Indian card on an international site?
Note : I tried Amazon UK ; doesn’t seem to work because I’m in India.

Not a promotion ; looking to help anyone that wants to study but isn't sure where to start and/or has financial constraints. Plus in exchange, you'll be helping me.

What it is: a tutor that actually talks to you. Voice in, voice out. Not a chatbot (unless you prefer that). Diagnostic on day one to figure out exactly where you are, then it adapts to you your pace, your weak spots, your misconceptions. Not another grading app, not another video course, not a chatbot. It teaches.
Built around the official ETS GRE content areas (quant + verbal).

What you get:

  • Free access for 3 months
  • 50% off if you want to keep using it after

What I need:

  • Use it actually, not just sign up
  • Permission to use your before/after diagnostic scores in my pitch (anonymously if you'd prefer)
  • Soft ask: a few sentences of honest feedback I could quote (again, anonymously is fine)

If you're prepping for the GRE in the next few months and want in, drop a comment or DM me. I'll send the first 10 people access codes.

[Sharing because I've gotten a lot of messages about this already]

  1. Once you have a DUNS number - DO NOT "update" your account with it to convert it. That will not work. You will still be stuck in the 14-day testing loop. Do not save it there. Do nothing. (This is very important)
  2. To avoid the mandatory testing ; you will need to create a NEW business account. This means paying the $25 again, and starting over.
  3. You can transfer "production-ready" apps (apps that have been approved for production and are live) from your indie account to your new business account. Draft apps/Apps that have not been approved cannot be transferred.

I've successfully worked the Indie path + the org path ; the indie path, I've been able to successfully publish (post-testing) in the first try (over 5 times) ; and I've now switched to a business account (I applied for a DUNS).

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Happy to help!

For me it’s 2 of them.

  1. The morning after Wilson takes the double dose of chemo and comes into his office and on his laptop is a montage that House put together of the night before. I love that!

  2. When Cameron and Chase dance together that last time. All of their scenes from that episode. Damn!

I used desertcart.in for the first time ; took a really long time but at least it did arrive. I was quite skeptical. Can’t wait to build this one!
