I've had a Scarlet Solo (3rd gen) for 3 years now. I use it for voiceover with a condensor microphone and my macbook air

A few weeks ago, it started having an insane amount of static/buzz in the background. I've tried witching out my XLR cable and USB cable (from the unit to my computer) and no luck. I'm not very audio-tech savvy so I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any suggestions?

Link leads to a clip of the sound. First half is with gain turned all the way up, second is with it at 50%.
