Hi! I'm not tech saavy so (foolishly) I tried AI to help me with an issue of the Instacart app being greyed out (only when in full screen) and ended up messing up the phone completely. It still works, as in, I can open most everything but have lost the widgets and the home screen is an absolute mess. I am unable to go to a pro-shop for a fix and am hoping someone here can be kind enough to give me help or advice on how to restore it back to "normal". It is most definitely an software issue. I've done the re-start (pressing volume and power buttons) but that doesn't help. In the process a MaxWare (I do not recall the proper name) installed along with a couple of other unwanted apps which I managed to uninstall and get rid of. But the phone overall is messed up. My Widgets are gone and so are most homepage apps. I don't even know the proper way to explain it all and I desperately need guidance. Thus, I am reaching out here in hopes that someone can help me bring everything back to proper state again. I would be ever grateful. I'm afraid to do a factory re-set as I don't want to lose even more info/apps ect. Pressing a blank spot on the homescreen does not restore my widgets and asks if I want to align with top or bottom instead of giving me the proper options. I am at a complete loss and need the phone to order food as I am unable to leave my domicile. Please help.
