Getting the first cook on the WSM. Prime brisket from Costco for Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!

The SA-8800 I got a little while back from a lady who was going to take it to GW got back from the tech today. Phono board was rebuilt as well as the tone control board. Voltages and bias were adjusted as well. It sounds great. A little over $500 but considering it was a free amp, it was worth the price to get it fixed.

Got some accessories installed on the WSM I got on clearance from Lowe’s.

Gaskets, side shelf, casters and the lid hinge. Also not shown is a wireless thermometer

Follow up to a previous post which I asked if I should pick up the WSM that was discounted to $466. Well today I went back and checked to see if was still available and it was for $384. Considering used ones on FBM near me are going for $325-350, I felt it was worth it. Bonus was I discovered it had a cover inside
