I wish I had as much free time as some…

Serious question.

If you (the one reading this) dislike Whoop so much or better yet, are no longer a subscriber, why the heck do you lurk and spend your energy poo pooing on people’s questions ?

Never been known as Mr. optimistic but darn, some of you are simply negative Nancy’s and better folks.

Sincerely,

Happy user (and yes, know it, just everything in life, isn’t perfect)

Hey everyone,

I’m reaching the end of a two-year contract with Rogers and looking to jump ship before my bill doubles next month. They aren’t interested in negotiating a new rate, and honestly, I’m ready for a change anyway.

The catch is my specific area of Cambridge doesn't have high-speed Fibe yet (stuck with the old-school Bell lines), so I’m pretty much limited to providers running on the cable infrastructure.

What I’m looking for:

  • Speeds: Ideally 1000 Mbps down / 200 Mbps up.
  • Reliability: I know everything eventually runs through Rogers' lines, but I'm looking for a provider with better support or more consistent pricing.
  • No Contracts: If possible, I’d like to avoid the "call every two years to beg for a discount" cycle.

Has anyone had success with Oxio, TekSavvy, or Start.ca in town lately? I've also seen Execulink mentioned as a local option.
