I just bought a G 5008 dishwasher and in the parts package and on the diagram there is an odd part that seems to have no use. I have combed over the drawings and read the manual but I can’t seem to find a use. My brain must solve this but can’t so I’m reaching out to the Reddit hive mind. Here’s a pic of the part and diagram. Help?
