Cutting MD Paper A5 for Le Portfolio?

Anyone here doing this on the regular? I just got my A5 portfolio and the overhang I could live with… but I’d rather not. I’m not super good at this kind of thing, but I live in Japan and I have a feeling that print shops here won’t be so open to resizing notebooks for me, so I’ll probably have to do it myself.

If not, any suggestions for notebooks that do fit that are FP friendly? I don’t mind the PR refills but they are a little hard to get and living in Japan, I should take advantage of the stationery here when I can.

Joined the club, very happy

After 5 years of Travellers I finally found a place in Japan that sells Paper Republic so decided to give the A5 portfolio a spin. Loving it so far. My setup:

- cut down TN calendar for my on the go appointment planning

- blank PR refill that is a catch all

- PR book refill for my personal journal

- MD Paper A5 for my common placing

I am torn between trying to cut down the A5 MD to make it the same size as the other books. I’m not good at that kinda stuff though so maybe I’ll just live with it.
