I built Tesla inventory tracker with price history, alerts and fair price analysis - looking for Model Y buyer feedback
Been tracking Tesla's entire US inventory for a few months now. Some interesting Model Y stats from our database:
- Used Model Y: median sold price $31,500, avg 6 days on lot
- New Model Y: 61% of inventory carries a discount, averaging $827 off
- Half of used Model Ys get 5+ price drops before selling
- Median savings from waiting: ~$2,000
I built TeslaTracker to track all of this. Every vehicle shows price history charts, battery health estimates, fair price analysis, warranty status, and hardware version. You can filter by trim, year, color, seating (5/6/7 seat), FSD, and HW version.
It was recently cited by the Wall Street Journal as a data source for Tesla pricing.
Completely free, no paywall.
If you're shopping for a Model Y right now, would love to know what data or features would be most useful for your buying process.
