Some thoughts

I would like to ask if anybody has any useful feedback or ideas when dealing with ink and ballpoint pen

I’ve been fairly surprised on how gently you have to push the pen when drawing. Just when I thought I was pushing as lightly as I could, I have found an even lighter pressure yields better more subtle results.

Speaking of subtle, I find my self drawing less lines, particularly less bold lines, and instead drawing shadows, which as they deepen, form lines.

Also, it’s been really useful to sometimes draw the negative space as then try to draw everything surrounding the negative space, with the negative space shape the thing I’m trying to capture. when I do this, it feels like I’m putting everything else in better perspective.
