We lost our incredible Margot last year at 9 years old due to metastatic cancer that had already spread all over her lungs. It was a completely shock as she had always been our healthiest dog. I’m also a CVT and really kept on top of her care.

She had the mentality of a northern breed 100%. Independent, stubborn, and definitely did not exist to please us (lol), but she was so loving and she had such an exceptional personality. We learned about Elkies through her DNA test years ago, and fell in love with the breed. I got to meet a purebred one in one of the canine agility classes we did. Shout out to Bonnie! Obsessed with her. While the pug is doing some heavy lifting on the looks side, I think the Elkie pulled a lot of weight too. I hope you guys love her unique mix as much as we did. Don’t ask how it happened LOL.

I think we mention her at least weekly how much we miss her. 9 was too young and we didn’t even get a chance to help her fight. We love you, sweetheart.
