Hi everyone,
I just recently got a quest pro off marketplace for a whopping $200 and have set up the headset fine.
I do not have ethernet and am not close to my router/modem (I'm on the second floor, router/modem is on the first. I am getting better wifi soon, but for now it's pretty shitty.) Therefore, I've never used air link/virtual desktop/steam link aside from the initial trying it out and realizing it's way too laggy. I stick to wired connections and thats always worked perfectly fine.
The thing is, every tutorial I've seen on youtube for setting up VRCFT requires steam link or virtual desktop—there's no wired link tutorial anywhere and I've seen that there was some sort of recent update that broke wired link and face tracking?
Am I screwed? Do I just have to deal with the lag or is there any way to set up VRCFT with a wired link?
Any kind of help whatsoever is deeply appreciated, thanks!
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I use SlimeVR trackers for full body, is it still a necessity to set up space calibrator?
