Bought a LoL account without the original email. Was this a mistake?

Bought a LoL account recently through PlayerAuctions and so far everything seems fine after about a week. I changed the email, password, enabled MFA, etc. The only thing I never had access to was the original creation email.

The seller kept insisting the original email was deleted and unusable, and honestly they were pretty cooperative overall. I even paid extra for PlayerAuctions insurance/protection in case something happens within a year. But now I’m starting to wonder if buying an account without the original email was just a bad idea from the start.

I checked the original email through a few “email existence” checker tools and they all show it as active/existing, although I don’t fully trust those sites either. So now I’m wondering:

- Is buying an account without the original email basically always a gamble/roulette?

- In practice, do most original owners just move on and never recover the account?

- Or can accounts still randomly get reclaimed months later even after securing everything?
Would you personally avoid spending/transferring RP onto an account like this?

I still have my old account with a lot of unused RP and was thinking of gifting skins/items/rp to the bought account instead of directly buying RP there, but now I’m hesitant. Is it possible to do that without risk?

Curious what people with experience in account trading think.

After almost 5 years of playing only ARAM, it started to get boring, so I came back to Summoner’s Rift and I’m enjoying the game more than ever. One thing though, I really like experimenting with off meta picks.

Since coming back, I’ve tried things like Yorick AP support, Kennen, Shaco, Gragas, and I’ve been spamming Trundle with an 89% winrate so far.

I know a lot of these picks originally come from pro play for very specific reasons, like going for a surprise factor in draft, creating a “wow” moment, or because there wasn’t a better viable option in that situation, but honestly playing off meta support as kind of an OTP has been really fun.

So I was wondering, do you think these kind of moderately risky off meta support picks can actually work in ranked? Are people climbing with this kind of stuff? I’m not planning to jump into ranked anytime soon, maybe never again to be honest, I’m just curious.

Also, can we talk about Trundle support? I feel like it’s actually kind of legit.

Edit: it's time to stop now https://imgur.com/a/uMmuANp
