Hello guyss,
After Surrender at 20 shut down (RIP), I was kinda lost. The replacement JungleDiff feels overloaded with ads and honestly the design just isn’t it for me..
— no disrespect though.
So I decided to make my own blog about PBE preview changes: Surrender At 15
Mainly built it for myself and friends to have a clean overview of PBE updates and upcoming skins, but I’ll be active there a lot! I also added a chat so you can interact with others — emojis, gifs, the whole thing is setup.
And yeah, it’s completely free and has zero ads.
If you’re into clean, simple website for PBE leaks and updates, feel free to check it out, Thank you guys
What's the hardest match up for Leona and Thresh? I play these champs and I like them bcs when they all-in, it's guaranteed a kill. However, sometimes it's difficult to find the angle. Personally, I think Thresh is more squishy than Leona. And Pantheon support is a difficult match up for Thresh. He can drains the health bar with his combo. So, if you play Leona and Thresh, which champ you want to avoid?
I'm Emerald IV and I believe I have some nice knowledge about bot lane synergies, match-ups, builds, runes, and so on and so forth. However, Senna support tends to boggle my mind, so I'd like to make a few questions for those of you who are adept of this pick:
Thank you for reading.
I got banned for 15 minutes on champion select just because I did not choose a standard support and pick Yunara. I know she is fine for my elo, but now it looks like you can be reported for anything except which champions? I had a lot of good times with Poppy, Pantheon when they were not even main support characters, and everyone wrote me, "they are not the sup".
Before I saw Ahri support, top support, and whatever (last 2 weeks). So, how does it work? you are locked in each role to what? Or only the support role can be banned at the start? Help me please.
I had a game where I was playing Zyra bot, and my support was Sona. We were against Morgana and Miss Fortune, so there was a lot of poke and pressure in lane.
What frustrated me is that my Sona stayed very far behind most of the time while I was taking a lot of pressure trying to farm. I asked her to step forward a bit to help apply pressure or at least make the enemy hesitate, but she said that’s not her role and that she’s not a tank.
That response confused me. I understand Sona is squishy and shouldn’t be tanking damage like a Leona or Nautilus, but I also feel like a support should help control the lane, trade, or at least share pressure instead of letting the ADC take everything.
So I’m wondering:
Was I expecting too much from a Sona player?
Or was she playing too passively for that matchup?
Curious to hear how others see Sona’s role in lanes like this.
So I just played a ranked game as yunara and despite us winning early lane (she took kills but I thought that was fine) she started building luden, zhonya and storm surge. At some point, the enemy team understood that I was the only source of damage and decided to flash in/ dive me every time they could, Sona just didn't had healing and shield efficiency and I ended up dying. When I pointed out that she told me that I needed to work positioning, which may be true, but spacing ghost flash ult Olaf is not that easy.
Now that tilting has fallen down a bit, I would like to know if I maybe was wrong and could've done something by playing around it differently that I could.
alistar by now is super good into tank and enchanter support i don't think you can't lose to any unless they played better or it milio, i think he only get countered by those poke mages since you always get poked out lvl 1 and even till lvl 6 they can just poke you instead of the adc so you can't go in at all, who you should ban is either milio, sylas or any poke mages you hate, for me banning sylas is because everytime i pick alistar there almost always a sylas in my game becayse of how good alistar ult is so it get annoying when i keep facing him. for the runes i think this is the best for now imma wait till jew season to test out the new phase rush, you can change the relentless hunter into ultimate hunter if you want to use ult a little more it always good to have ult since it your main source of tanking. for item first back always buying dark seals to snowball then buy sutelya battle song first always, mercury tread is a must since you need it to complete 10 stack of jackk of all trades, if you are hard winning you can buy imperial mandate first or skip it for redemption if you feel like your team need survival or more damage or you can get bandlepipes is a good buff as well if not just go for zeke imo it the best item for you to tank with the ultimate haste and the slow, can be either zeke or bandlepipes second but imo your ult is needed for tanking more than buffing your team since you got no survival after ult is gone. i think that's all for this feel free to ask question i might or might not post this on mobafire
Don't get me wrong The idea is good To be able to buy control wards with full inventory. But Does it really that important?
control wards doesn't even survive in the late game. I would rather the quest helps supports to roam(like the jungle quest)/or buff the deep wards (larger vision/ more totem) health etc?
At least i was hoping to place two control ward one in constantly one objective and other one is situational.
This whole quest thing mostly add depth to other roles and leave the jungle/support same. Jungle was and still the most impactful role so it makes sense but support or even bot lane is the least important lane in this meta i think.
What do you think?
Please for the love of god… CAN YOU STOP GOING GRASP AND HEARTSTEEL WHEN PLAYING TAHM KENCH SUPPORT. is the most useless build and runes ever on support. U literary take 30 years to build it and max you get 300-400 hp in a good game. Put guardian in the bag with the 2000 gold support items and play support. I swear this is the equivalent of low elo mage supports. Rant coming from low Masta. Thanks
I swear there is a correlation here. As a support main I have noticed every smolder and tristana I play with will always have something to ping me about or rage in chat even when their decisions are bs most of the time. They die even though I do everything in my power to save them? - they will ping me as if I'm stupid. ADC egos are reaaaaaaal. Everytime I see someone lock in trist or smold I already know its going to be toxic, and they are, every single time.
Do other support mains have this opinion or with any other champions?
As junglers, we would be the big winners.
I've started duoing with my friend and I realized there is just so much potential to AP adcs and support combos. ADCs on the left and supports on the right. Here's what I tried and liked so far.
I'm sure there are more. Feel free to add more below and I'll edit them into the post so I can refer back to the list later.
Edit:
Idk, for the longest time I viewed milio was a nothing champion. Currently I am OTPing Sona on Ionia server, and very time i saw a Milio I would view the game as won. Free reigns in lane and I out scale. Right? Nope!
Yesterday for the first time I got completely blasted by a master Milio player, at every point in the game he spiked harder than me - and late game it was not even a match. His itemization and rune choices made me realize, the league of legends community as a whole have not figured out milio yet. If you look at build sites 70% of it is hot garbage. His strengths are giving damage amp and access to hitting targets. Yet there are people (ALOT OF PEOPLE) out there maxing Q then getting moonstone first, like congratulations you made yourself useless for the first 20 minutes of the game.
Anyways the secret sauce that has nettet me 10 wins and 1 loss so far in master's 100 LP:
Primary: Aeri, Axiom Arcanist, Absolute Focus, Gathering
Secondary: Magical Footwear+ Tripple Tonic
Shards: CDR + Scaling Health + Scaling health
Inspiration accelerates you 360 gold and gives you a free skillpoint. The point with this build is to accelerate points in W and E, plus obtain ardent censor as fast as possible.
Once you reach level 10 and have ardent sensor you become the most useful enchanter for the rest of the game. gg wepe
Heey, I am the one of the highest rated Lux players on the EUW server, and I decided to make this achievement post as I've been seeing an increase in negativity about playing Lux support. Because of that, I'd like to make this post to serve as proof that the pick can be viable on the highest level, and even consistently carry games in this skill bracket.
I made the "Knurble Lux" account in 2023 where I put 2 restrictions on it:
I started with the simple goal of reaching challenger, but this was not ambitious enough as that was relatively easy for me to achieve on the pick. Since then I've set some other goals, with one of them being to reach 2000 LP. This was meant to be a near-impossible milestone, but alas, season 16 happened.
I was able to reach the milestone earlier this week. I managed to accomplish this over 184 games with 64% win rate (of which all games were played with GM/challenger MMR). I did decay about 300LP during the grind, so it could've been done in less games, but I'm still very happy with this result. Most games were played on support role, with some bot lane and mid lane games mixed in as well.
There are currently 3 builds that I am running depending on team comps and game states:

When the lane phase is over, should I protect adc, the apc, or the most fed person? How many of my abilities should I save up in case there is a team fight about to start soon?
Also, knight's vow doesnt seem very good. Maybe if it offered more tank.
Hey, I’m Master ~300 LP (peaked around 350 LP)
Toplane main, but I can coach all roles.
My strengths:
- macro / decision making
- laning basics (wave, trading)
- mid/late game decisions
- fixing common mistakes
How it works:
- you play a game
- I watch live + take notes
- we review it after together
- simple tips you can actually use
I’m trying to improve my coaching as well, so I’m doing a few free sessions right now.
If you’re interested add me on discord „monkeydluffy17“
im so happy!! 75% wr on 12 games. I generally don't play ranked, just wanted to grind it out for the braum skin since I was really sad I missed sona :( two wins left https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/biffs-NA1
A basic example off the top of my head would be someone like Ashe or Veigar due to decent CC n stuff but not really being meta/best choices all the time.
Also love me some Zac support in certain instances.
Are there any unusual support picks that actually work for you guys at all?
Game is neutral, everyone is farming including the jgler, and there are no objectives to fight for. What do you do? I usually either put some wards (although i dont know which side i should ward, since i cant ward both sides of the map), or i just follow the jg around. Maybe some ppl would say "why dont you stay with your adc" but if he just collects a wave on a sidelane and the jg is warded i feel like i just waste time if i stay with him (and we also share xp).
Idk, sometimes it feels like i just have to afk because nothing is happening and the next objective spawns in 2 minutes. Thoughts?
