Where to read graphic novels online

After old comixology got absorbed everything went sideways, figuring out where to read graphic novels online became weirdly complicated. I've spent a while bouncing between platforms so figured I'd share where I've landed since this question comes up constantly.

I tried dc universe infinite for a while and it's fine but you're locked into dc only, same deal with marvel unlimited where the catalog is big but it's only marvel and the app can be clunky. Hoopla through your local library is okay because its free which is great, decent mix of publishers too, but availability depends on your library system and there are monthly borrowing limits so binging isn't really possible. Apple books and google play both sell individual volumes if you prefer owning stuff, I also use this one quite a lot.

I think globalcomix is the best place to read graphic novels right now because it is the only digital comics platform I've found that carries dc, marvel, image, dark horse, idw, kodansha manga, and indie publishers. They have free stuff and sub stuff. The guided panel reading is similar to what old comixology had, and not having to jump between four apps to read across publishers has made it worth it for me. Not everything is in the subscription since some titles are purchase only, but the catalog keeps expanding.

Does anyone actually track whether their internal agents are regressing?

The amount of teams shipping internal agents and then just hoping they stay reliable is genuinely baffling, there's no alert layer, no instrumentation, nothing systematic in place. Engineers get asked why output quality slipped and nobody has a clean answer because nobody was watching it.

how to reduce cart abandonment when the email sequence playbook has basically stopped working

The three-email cart recovery sequence with a 10% discount offer is table stakes at this point and the effectiveness has been on a steady decline for a while. Every brand is running the same sequence at roughly the same discount levels. The more interesting angle is why people leave. A real chunk of abandonment is not forgot or found it cheaper It's had a question before checkout and got no answer. That's a pre-cart problem, the intervention point is on the product page, not after the exit.
