I was a lot attendant making $18/hour. Now they want to “promote” me to BDC at $17.25/hour. Pay is mostly commission-based: $2 retro per appointment, $10 if I book it, plus $5 if it’s same-day or overnight lead. Selling a car only nets $15, no bonuses. Retro increases slowly — $3 after 76 apps, $4 after 120. Slow location — we sell 70–100 cars/month. Seems tough for the hours and responsibilities. 20 of my appointments sell 30k+ cars, and I get paid $300? — is this typical BDC pay?
