Very odd question, but would anybody mind teaming up on a bulk order of plastic bags?

edit: price is actually way lower than expected? Now looking at 0.3p per bag + shipping.

I've always struggled with never having enough small plastic zipper bags to organise my bits/food/collections, so I'm looking to order 5000 on Alibaba as it's the lowest quantity with the best bulk prices. I just can't stand to order a normal amount for a third of the total 5000 price, and get 10x less. The source looks pretty trustworthy and they are cheap (0.77 pennies per plastic bag before shipping, which I expect will add another 10 quid or so, pushing up the price to closer to 1 penny per bag). The bags are 10*15cm and seem decent quality. I believe alibaba sells wholesale for businesses which is why I'm fairly trusting (albeit it's no significant cost to lose).

If you are interested in a few hundred or thousand plastic bags (possibly to be further dispersed (trying not to sound like a pyramid scheme here (they are going for the same price I'm buying)) and live/can meet within 10 miles of hove, or know someone who is interested. please DM me. Looking to recieve in cash. Thanks :) If you don't feel safe meeting/are unable to meet (at a third space like a café or busy park), I'm sure we could arrange some kind of postage situation (with extensive evidence, I'm not a scammer) This'll be available for as long as I haven't accepted enough offers, plus a few weeks for shipping (I'd assume).

Thanks .

Do we trust alibaba?

As a miserable englishman, it's very difficult to find tumbling grit and rough rock in decent quantities at decent prices, until I stumbled onto alibaba and found that they sell all of this by the kilogram for pennies. (<£1/kg((<$1.3~/2.2lbs) for grit and closer to half a quid/kilo for rough rock).

To be clear, I keep an eye on the minimum order quantities, this isn't for metric tonnes of grit and rock, but I have a few questions.

Firstly, is sandblasting grit (of the correct kind (sillicon dioxide and aluminium oxide)) appropriate for tumbling? I can't think of any obvious reasons off the top of my head.
If so, and shipping prices are the hidden cost I've been missing, why isn't alibaba the first place we send people when looking for grit/rough rock in bulk-ish quantities? Especially for those in a land of barbarians few people who tumble like myself?
Is there a moral issue I've brushed off like not supporting local rock businesses (there are very few over here) or do we not trust the source (unknown business in China)? (albeit I imagine the people who sell it get it in bulk from china)

Thanks for any answers in advance, and if you want me to go on a delirious rant about my previous problems with this hobby in the UK just ask.
