I tried the recommendations I got on my last post regarding the Stouffer’s meatloaf:

The second image is of the meal just microwaved. The third image is of the meal from the conventional oven, with a bit of ketchup on the meatloaf and ~2tbsp of Kerry Gold garlic and herb butter to the potatoes 5 minutes toward the end of baking.

The conventional oven didn’t make a discernible difference. The ketchup added a pleasant sweetness and flavor. The butter in the mashed potatoes knocked it out of the park; it made them fluffier, richer, and generally tastier.

Stouffer’s large meatloaf and mashed potatoes:

It’s one of my favorite frozen meals. It’s simple and straightforward, and doesn’t taste as highly processed as you might expect. It’s damn near impossible for any frozen meal to get a perfect score IMO. I took off another point, because it would be nice if it had a second side. I always accompany it with a can of corn that I heat on the stovetop with butter and salt, that brings it up to a 9/10.
