DCT oil change

i'm getting ready to do an oil change on my DCT and saw this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33appVO-Hu4

so there's another oil filter on the right side for the DCT system! i have 11000 miles on the bike, should i get this filter too or just clean it and put it back? BTW, i just got the bike so no idea its oil change history.

actually they are only $10 and i can get one tomorrow so just ordered https://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Oil-Filter-Performance-Conventional/dp/B0BSG5YMM5/ref=sr_1_5

is it safe to put the weight of the bike on the engine sump? if not, how to jack it up?

I changed my mind, i ordered this instead

Hi, I'm a 66 y.o. guy just getting back into climbing. I live in Groveland and plan to go climbing every week, mid week to avoid the crowds (yep, I know, it's Yosemite, no such thing). anyhow if anyone local is into some easy 5.6 or so climbing please let me know. Thanks Steve

using this https://www.easternbeaver.com/honda-nc750-nc700/#elementor-toc__heading-anchor-11

but its kinda expensive with shipping. is there a US stocked alternative? otherwise i guess i'll just splice into the cables.

i got this too

for 50 years I've been resting my left hand fingers on the clutch lever while ridding, now I don't have one and its making my left hand cramp up. I'm wondering about putting a fake clutch lever on. has anyone else done that?

(i just ordered one on amazon, see how it works out)

Just picked up my new cherry red bike, love the color. I'm a bit surprised how it feels like a tractor, I was expecting it to be much smoother. Is that normal? Cruising at 55 in 6th you can really feel the thumping. Sure I can go into sport mode or drop a gear but that doesn't feel right.

Maybe I'm just not used to it yet. What do you think?

BTW, i just check the oil and it seems over filled, it's about 2-3mm above to top of the flat area when i hold the bike upright. should i try drain some oil?

Hi, I'm looking for a lift from Groveland to the bay area (BART station would be great) any time in the next week or so , April 27th onwards. I'm happy to contribute $30 towards gas.

I'm a older guy, going to pick up a motorcycle in San Jose, no bags, just me and a bike helmet.

Pls PM me if you can give me a ride.

Thanks, Steve
