First rave in SF?
To clarify, I am going to my first rave ever, in SF. Super stoked to see seven lions at bill graham, I’m going with three other people but will probably stick with one. I’ve picked up on some of the culture thru my raver friends and the internet, but I’m wondering if there’s anything specific to SF rave culture? I’m planning on wearing a tank top, sweats, and some random beater shoes, should I be bringing some type of bag or other supplies too?
Last semester too light?
Hi yall, freshman year is coming to an end and these are what my next 2 semesters will look like:
Fall (time of application, 13 units):
-calc 3
-Berkeley cs 61a equivalent
-sociology
Spring (sem b4 transfer, 7 units):
-Berkeley CS 61B equivalent
-Differential equations
I’m applying stats, data theory, and data science to ucb, ucla, and ucsd, as well as usc’s Econ & data science. Can I justify 7 units? By spring my CALGETC, math sequence, and Econ requirements will be complete. The 61B class is my last major prep class for the data majors.
All of my other semesters have been 13+ units, but I recognize spring is pretty hard just with those two classes. Suggestions?
My stats by time of application will likely look like:
3.87 GPA (B in Physics 1, Macroecon)
Vice President of College (one of 4)
Founder of Pre-Med Club
Cofounder of Finance and Investment Club
Front Desk at College Tutoring Center
Dental Clinic Project increasing frequency of high-value procedures and using predictive analytics
Latinx Student Body Advocate
PTK Honors Member
Local Library Seminar Series introducing AI to seniors
Associates in Econ, Math, Data Science
Thinking of adding another DS project or maybe Econ/policy research
My dream school/major is Berkeley DS, but I’ve seen a crap ton of applicants around my competitiveness get waitlisted or rejected this year. I’m thinking that I apply as Stats and try to switch into DS if I get in since they’re both in the same college. What do yall think?
Obviously girls don’t even look our way but theoretically speaking nogwapnolife has to take the cake
“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is the whole premise of listening to music. There is no correct answer to “who’s the best in the ug” everybody has their own reasons for liking what they like. You can’t get mad at someone for hating on your fav artist because that’s their opinion. The only thing that’s objective are streaming numbers, which we know don’t reflect the “quality” of an artist’s music
