Performance and multitasking first, then build quality and battery life. I don’t need a 2-in-1 or touchscreen. Looking for a balanced laptop that stays smooth for long term use without any changes in performance.

Moderately important. I’ll carry it occasionally for study/work, but performance matters more than extreme thinness.

Mostly research work, lots of browser tabs, PDFs, article writing, movies/content consumption, and occasional light-mid video editing. Interested in robotics as a field, so I may explore coding/tools later, but not doing hardcore development right now, also in recent time I'm doing bit CAD works related to robotic parts like using oneshape software and all for conversions.

If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

Very casual gaming only. Games like GTA V, Valorant, Minecraft, or older AAA titles at medium settings with decent playable FPS are enough.

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

16GB RAM preferred for multitasking and future-proofing. Good keyboard and decent display would be appreciated since I’ll spend long hours reading/writing. SSD required.

Generally i prefer reliable brands like samsung but not sure if i can get a good one from those brands and if there is any value option im open to slightly increasing my budget but its just a second thought and as im a student i want a reliable one on which i can for atleast 4 years

I have a bunch of robotics components for laser cutting but the problem is they are only available in 3D .IPT form they are actually many components loke this and the technician who work in this laser cutting factory asked me for .DXF 2D files of the components.

Im newbie and tbh i have zero knowledge but im open to learn. Is there easy way i can come through this and convert he files easily?? I have tried oneshape but can't make through it.
