will i / my project get into the filmmaking lab?
Ok, this horary is something i cast just after my submission for a highly competitive screenwriting lab at a known institution. I am applying with a project that I got far with last year, but ultimately, did not end up in a final cut. I have reworked the piece, changed it in a way that i think matters, and resubmitted. I am asking if I will get into the lab this time around.
The story i am telling is about family and legal matters in regards to women and right to choose one's path in life. the work itself has been truly crafted over the last 2.5 years, i have worked hard on getting it into the shape it is in now.
My take: I'm going to put my read here, but as I stand to benefit...or not...from this, I have a hard time trusting my own interpretation, even if i do ikeep it clear. Any added perspective, with a real grounded-ness in the chart, and not my wishes, would be well appreciated. Thank you in advance!
My signifier is strong in domicile in aries. The signifier of my work is Jupiter, and it's exalted in the 9th house in cancer. The other signifier, the moon, is in mutual reception with jupiter and is the ruler of the 9th house...gatekeepers and experts. i think they will receive my piece well.
As the Sun, ruler of the tenth house (winning, being chosen) is in my 7th house...and not aspecting my signifier, mars, in any way, i think getting into the lab may or may not be possible. Watching the recently passed sextile to jupiter from the sun and the upcoming sextile to the project from mercury, 11th house matters might show an admission into the labs...but mercury is combust and in venus' sign...a sign that really doesn't prefer mars in any way. In this case I can't tell if I am the signifier to watch, or if my project is the signifier to watch. the project looks much preferred in this chart, with mercury applying to sextile as it finds a cazimi with the sun...
possible yes??? i may be lazy in seeing these aspects and not entirely running through things like antiscia but, i do like this better if i take it from the perspective of my project, less so if i think of 'me'. i do think that the lab is trying to nurture a voice or a writer. i wonder...
