from the review:

The pollo a la brasa, or Peruvian-style chicken, at Loli Farms in Pasadena may be the best rotisserie chicken in the area.

On a Saturday night, the parking lot at Loli Farms in Pasadena is a maze of cars. People triple park along the entrance to the former gas station. Someone blocks one of the driveways. Cars are left unmanned, hazard lights blinking while their owners rush in to retrieve takeout orders. Others simply lock their doors and head inside, praying they finish cleaning their chicken bones before the people they blocked in. The chicken here is worth the risk...

I did this a little while ago but it didn't make sense to post w/o a vid to illustrate what on the fly add to cart and view cart links would work. Sanity did a demo for the Agent Context shopping assistant starter but it finished before the cart. I wanted to close the loop on the missing piece — actual checkout.

I wired in Foxy.io as the commerce layer. The interesting part: Foxy's /cart endpoint accepts product data as URL parameters at click time, so Claude constructs the cart link directly from whatever it pulled out of the Content Lake — title, price, SKU, variants, image URL.

Why is this cool: Nothing needs to be synced to Foxy. Sanity stays the single source of truth all the way through to the moment of payment.

Also added a pre-payment webhook that validates cart prices against Sanity before Foxy charges the card. System prompt lives in agent.config as intended — just told Claude the Foxy cart URL format so it surfaces Add to Cart links inline in chat responses.

Stack: Sanity Agent Context + Next.js + Claude Sonnet + Foxy + Vercel.

tldr; created a checkout flow using Sanity Agent Context with zero product info imported into Foxy Commerce
