HOKA Speedgoat 7

Too ugly? Tried on the 7’s ahead of a big hike I’m doing, and they are so comfortable, but by god are they ugly. For reference, I’m a woman and I got the black/black. They are truly incredible shoes, I’m so impressed, but they are so ugly I don’t know if I can wear them. Any women have any advice on styling them?

Mint vs Noble?

I have Verizon and it’s been a brutal experience. Want to switch out of it to a lower cost carrier and considering mint and noble. Have you guys used this and what has your experience been? I’ll be in Europe for a month so international usage is important to me.

Thanks!

[academic] Paid research interview ($20, 45 min) How do you research companies before taking a job, choosing a partner or making a purchase?(review posters, review searchers, Glassdoor users)

Hi — I'm doing independent research on how people evaluate companies and I'm looking for 15 people to talk to.

You'd be a good fit if:

•	You've used Glassdoor, BBB, Yelp, or a similar platform to research a company before

•	You've held at least one job or internship

45 minutes over Zoom. $20 via Venmo when we're done. No selling, no product pitch — just a conversation.

Backpack size - osprey sirius 24 too small?

Hey Team! I bought an osprey Sirius 24 from REI and it fits really well and I love the color. I’m pretty petite, like very visibly narrow and weigh about 110 pounds/5’4. I’m very nervous about weight and have been training with my backpack walking around the hills in San Francisco. I also have the 34 and just slightly concerned about how big it is and if it will cause me pain curious if you have any thoughts about how necessary it is to have a bigger backpack if I plan to pack lean though with a small or ultra light sleeping bag.
