Hi! I'm pretty curious about moving from western NY to Seattle, myself and my partner are alternative and with Seattle being so rooted in grunge/punk culture I have no doubt I'd find community in that sense. My main questions are how is the automotive enthusiast/motorcycle scene in Seattle? Those are my passions and I'd really like somewhere that I can enjoy those more than I can in New York. As far as work I'm a CNC machine operator learning setup so having a manufacturing setting would also be very helpful if that's the case.
Hey everyone so as the title states I've (M26) been looking into visiting with my (f24) girlfriend later this year so I can gauge if Phoenix would be a good spot to stay a while, we're from Ny and both love trying new food, going to see live shows, and we both generally like going out to different bars/clubs. We're both alternative/punk so we like going to places that fit that description if there's a scene for that there. And as far as potentially moving my career is cnc machining hers is vet med, I enjoy riding motorcycles and I'm a car enthusiast as well so I'm hoping there's a good community for that. She's very much into art, museums, and different coffee shops to spend time in, and I spend mine playing pool. Any input one way or another is greatly appreciated!
