Looking for some help

Hello, I'm looking for some recommendations and some advice when it comes to getting an embroidery machine.

I've done a lot of research and got different stuff using the advice of Google and articles. But I'm looking for a non add/promoting option on a good embroidery machine and a software that isn't $1000+.

I'm looking for something that can handle a bigger embroidery area. I need it for work, making cosplays and other bigger designs (Roughly 7 inches). My budget is around 1k I'm not too sure if that is realistic or not.

What did I do wrong

What am I doing wrong. Had the tank for just about two weeks. There were around 10 sea monkeys now only two. I fed them not even half of the scoop of food on day 7 and topped it up with distilled water. Used marine salt, I have a refractometer. Heater is set to the right temp and that's it. I also have a grow light. There's some dust in the tank but my tank didn't come with a lid, could that be why? Can some dust really kill sea monkeys?
