DAE not really care about making a career for themselves?

I just want to live my life and have enough money in the bank so I don't have to worry about my finances. I don't really care about "climbing the latter" and achieving some career goal. I have a job because I need money. Sure, I'd rather have a job I actually enjoy doing but that seems like an unattainable fantasy. Honestly I don't even really know what I want as a career, but any high career goals imply competition and expectations, two things I don't care much for.

Mixed-handedness is not the same as left-handedness

Someone from the lefty sub said I should post this here. I'm curious what you all think because I got some mixed-handed people very angry.

My opinion (which isn't actually an opinion because it's a fact) is that just because you use your left hand to write and your right hand for everything else, that does not necessarily make you a lefty. Yes, you could have been taught to do tasks with your right hand because it's a right-handed world. But being mixed-handed is a thing, too. If you naturally prefer one hand for some, and the other hand for other tasks, you are mixed. Using your left hand for some tasks does not make you a lefty. Hope I made myself clear lol.

I miss iTunes

iTunes was superior I'll forever grieve its leaving. Being able to download and put any song you could find on the internet on there, choosing the album cover, always having your library offline, stats were good. Currently fed up with my Spotify not working and constantly deleting songs I have no other way of listening to. I really miss iTunes.

Anyone's else's Spotify app keep crashing?

A while back I had to completely reinstall my phone because it thought Spotify used like 200gB of data when it didn't but it said so in my settings and it made my phone crash. Now it keeps saying I'm offline and my wifi isn't working. I can look everything up in the app, it just refuses to play songs because it thinks I'm offline when I'm not. I deleted my cache data everything, reinstalled the app and it still won't work. How do I get this damn app to work? Anyone else keep getting problems like this?

Edit: I think Spotify might actually be down at the minute, their website is not working either. Guess I'll just sit here in silence ):

Songs everybody knows but aren't mainstream

I want familiar but forgotten sounds

edit: my phrasing seems to have confused you all. I mean songs that aren't mainstream anymore, that you feel like only you remember but everybody used to know.

When I was a kid, my favourite colour was purple. Whenever someone asked me what my favourite colour was, I'd answer that. But a few years later I realised I like pink better, and I had to change my answer to that question.

It has happened a few times in my life that I realise my default answer to a "favourite question" has changed and it always feels weird and I sort of feel bad about it in a way. Like I cheated on purple lol. I'm wondering if anyone can relate to this.

For context, I've only just started my first "grown up job" half a year ago. In these 6 months, two colleagues (from different departments) have been fired. Both times, my manager didn't know until it was announced in a group email to everyone.

I wonder if this is normal? Wouldn't the managers of these departments usually discuss this with management before letting the rest of the employees know? I'm getting a bit of an icky feeling about how all of this is going, and it's giving me anxiety that they might suddenly sack me too.
