My daughter is in schooling and when she went to the bathroom our kitten came and sat infront.
It took them 2 weeks to "assess" the laptop and now they're trying to make me pay $1300 for 2 keyboard keys and a new motherboard, claiming the parts I have are from a 3rd party bc I bought it on Amazon.
I don't understand how in the heck a keyboard key is 3rd party as that makes zero sense. 2 keys popped off and wouldn't pop back in. It happened before and it was fully covered. Now all of the sudden everything is 3rd party???
I just want a laptop that works.... wtf am I even paying for a warranty if nothing is covered?
Do I even have options here? I requested proof that the parts are 3rd party and am awaiting response but it seems so shady to me.
I am having very mixed feelings about the dye lot color not matching... yes it is the same dye lot. Is it super obvious? Is there anything I can try to make it less obvious, like washing it? I really don't want to have to scrap this project but the color not matching is unpleasant.
Yarn is hobii soft alpaca (100% alpaca).
This post and the other was made by me (spadesage17's kid, the non autistic)
As you know we have two kittens, both 3-5 weeks (some pictures are from awhile ago), we have an orange one Leo/Lele, and a torti Chloe/Coco.
Leo just started wet food early due to him peeing himself, it might be the formula upsetting his stomach. He really likes his wet food, we use a tiny spoon to help.
Thats about it for now.. well.. GOOD BYE!
I cannot for the life of me find any explanation online. They're both 4-5 weeks old, eating well, pooping daily and I stimulate them to pee (and they do) at each feed. Which at this age is every 4-5 hours. Orange eats about 15ml each feed, girlie easily downs up to 30.
At first it was only orange constantly covered in pee but now the other one is doing it too.
What on earth could be causing this so I can fix it? They get KMR formula, nothing else. Am I accidentally adding too much powder? Is it separating in the fridge? I make a cup full that they use up each day and stir it each time I refill but maybe it isn't enough.
Could it be a parasite issue? They definitely have worms but all the treatments say they need to be 6 weeks. Or are these weirdos accidentally stimulating each other to pee? I'm at a loss here and I feel bad they need their butts washed at least once a day.
We have been bottle feeding 2 kittens for about 3 weeks now, since they were about 1 week old. The mother cat rejected them after we moved her from her previous owner's apartment (followinv the death of said owner).
We've dealt with panleuk before and I disinfected the entire house with veterinary grade cleaner. I am positive it was eliminated, but the symptoms are the same here. Considering mom was an indoor-outdoor cat from the nearby colony, I'm not surprised they might have it.
Kittens have been kept in a large tupperware with a heating pad and cozy blanket. I've been following the Kitten Lady's guides for everything and until a few days ago we were golden.
A few days ago the little orange guy started peeing on himself constantly, despite regular bowel stimulation. Today he was suddenly very lethargic and refusing to eat. I have been slowly feeding him against his will with his formula and some sugar water (1:1 ratio). He's a little twitchy as well but it might just be him sleeping. It doesn't appear to be seizures, more like muscle twitches.
His poop is normal and he's still peeing semi-regularly so I'm hopeful it isn't too serious, but is there anything we can do at home other than continuing to push fluids? I have no actual money right now but if there's anything we can give him that I can buy with EBT, I can get it. Unfortunately the only thing the emergency vet by us would do without payment is euthanize, and we really want to try to help him get better.
Thank you.
I've known my 3yo has Autism since he was around 8 months old. Last week he finally received an official diagnosis so we can get him started on ABA and all the therapies, as well as SSI and (hopefully) I can get paid to be his caregiver (bc it's a whole job on its own, and I don't feel right having him in daycare 24/7 so I can bust my butt at a job that will barely pay the bills, when I can BE the daycare if that makes sense).
They didn't give him a level of 'tism yet, as they want to do more testing. But the current diagnosis is enough to get everything started while we wait for his other tests.
I'm super happy thinking of all the progress he's going to make! The diagnosis might just be a piece of paper, but it's also a key to getting him all the services he needs to thrive. He is not his diagnosis, but having it gives him a major advantage towards becoming the best version of himself. At least that's how I see it.
Feel free to share some happy stories here too! I love seeing the happy stories. I usually save them for when I'm having a hard time, to remind myself it's not all bad.
