Unable to accept nose after septoplasty
hi everyone,
I'm almost 4 weeks since having doing my septoplasty operation, and while I will say my breathing has gotten better, for the life of me I cannot look at myself anymore. My nose has completely structurally changed. It now is much shorter, and is just less projected than before, it feels like someone stepped on it which gives it a wider and a flatter appearance. I contacted my surgeon, he said he had to do what he had to do fix the deviation (trigger warning: last post includes the amount of bone removed) but i genuinely feel like i require therapy now because my face has completely changed. my nose used to be my favorite feature of mine and now i can't look at it. it looks so weird now, sitting way lower than it used to, and has no definition or anything. and even the tip now looks like it got "cut off" I know swelling may still be part but the whole structure of it has changed. I don't know what to do anymore I'm so broken
