Riding in Thailand: being overtaken by a 110cc Honda Wave like it’s nothing
Tbf this is not very fast at all but it still hurt 😂

Although my back already hurts I am really enjoying this bike and proud of myself for working up the confidence to give it a go :D
Love it so much I took it to Thailand with me
I’m a woman 5’6” 70kg fit and strong etc and not too short. I got my full A license last summer (UK) but I still ride my 2005 Honda CBR125R (although I’ve been in Thailand the last 6 months riding a 150cc scooter).
My dream bike right now is a 2000 Honda CBR600F (I like this era of bikes) but the physical size (not the power) of big bikes like this scares me and I’m so used to a small light bike that I can manoeuvre so easily that I’m intimidated by being on a physically large and wide bike that is much less manoeuvrable
The biggest bike I’ve ridden so far is a Triumph Speed 400 (rented for two days in Thailand) which felt good, and I recently tried my friend’s Ninja 650 on a short straight stretch of road to urge myself to try get over the fear and it actually was pretty fun, but the U turn at the end was cumbersome as hell, when I was pretty good at U turning the Z650 I had for my tests.
Can I manage a physically big bike realistically? How do I get over this fear? Thinking while I’m in Thailand I should just rent a big bike and try to get over this now and then when I’m back home I’ll have the confidence to get that 600F…
Can anyone relate?
