Neowiz AI job listing info

I saw a lot of posts about this on twitter, and saw a lot of people bashing both Lies of P (not sure why if this is for a future game) and the company. So I went to their site to read the listing, and I think a few things need to be cleared up:

- This job listing is not for the Lies of P sequel. They are still hiring a narrative designer, level designer, level artist, developer, concept artist, engine programmer, combat programmer, content planner, level planner, etc. specifically for the sequel

- Their AI Creator listing is not for basic generative ai that people post on social media. It's more of an editing tool that needs a programmer. They want the employee to be both knowledgeable and experienced in real traditional 2D art and 3D modelling. Yes, it's meant to speed up processes, no it's not meant to replace the artists.

- Imagine needing to draw 400000 yellow bricks (example because the next game is oz, right?), instead of doing that you might draw 8000 bricks and then pass it to the AI creator in the team, "Hey, can you plug this into the program as data and increase the amount 50 times? I need to work on the Emerald city now." and the creator does so but then uses real coding/programming skills to tweak the generation so it retains the quality of the original 8000.

- The job listing states they want someone who understand the legal guidelines of both AI ethics and copyright

- If you're worried about AI training, Neowiz is building their library themself for the content they are creating, which means they won't be outsourcing material. Like the example earlier, it'll just go from one team to the next.

- AI isn't new in video games at all! In recent years, people see "AI" and immediately call it slop, but the AI usage in the video game industry usually isn't the AI that's harmful. (https://youtu.be/j3LW5no-5Ao) This video by a video game designer explains it well. Having majored in video game design (though my concentration was on writing and narrative, so I'm not the expert on all of the tech/visual side) and minored in visual effects, I can say using AI in software is starting to get pretty common in visual effects and animation too (not nearly as common as classic CGI though), it's near impossible to create some particles without the computer's help.

- Here’s a link to the listing in case anyone wants to check for themself: https://www.neowiz.com/en/career/browse-job/043f65b9-9c3e-4063-9a86-d73eccae503e

It's in Korean though, you'll need to use a translator if you don't speak it. I used a translator, so feel free to correct me if I got anything wrong.
